ESSAY RULES
ELEMENTARY STUDENTS
TOPIC: Self Esteem
REQUIREMENTS: Create a poster or collage. Submission must be an original piece done by the contestant.
All submissions may be turned in at the youth rally March 21-23, 2008 to Sister Dumas
PRIZES: Awards will be given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. In addition there will be a $50.00 prize given to the
1st place winner.
MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS
TOPIC: What Abstinence means to me
REQUIREMENTS: Submission must be an original piece done in the words of the contestant. It must be at
least 1000 words in length,it should be double-spaced. Contest begins January 25, 2008. All submissions
need to be emailed to Sister Dumas no later than February 29, 2008 at

PRIZES: Awards will be given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. In addition there will be a $100.00 prize given
to the 1st place winner.
HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS
TOPIC: How would you promote Abstinence to other high school students
REQUIREMENTS: Submission must be an original piece done in the words of the contestant. It must be at
least 1000 words in length,it should be double-spaced. Contest begins January 25, 2008. All submissions
